Evening. April's apartment

It's already getting dark outside, the street is filled with twinkling lights and lanterns, and inside it's a real holiday. The air smells of pumpkin, cinnamon, and hot chocolate. Everyone is gathered together - Halloween preparations are in full swing.

April is walking around the kitchen in an apron with orange bats on it, mixing pie dough. Her cheeks are slightly floury, and she tries to remain serious, but keeps an eye out for chaos.

Casey is dragging a box of decorations around the room: cobwebs, plastic spiders, skeletons, and candles. He grumbles loudly, but really enjoys it.

"Okay, but if this spider falls on my head at night, you're responsible, turtles!"

Leo is sitting on the floor, concentrating on carving a pumpkin. He has a perfect, even face, like a model. He doesn't get distracted by jokes, he does everything according to the rules.

"The pumpkin should stand straight by the window so that the fire burns safely." — He is already being teased for being too serious.

Raph is competing with Leo at this time - his pumpkin has huge crooked teeth and a scary grin. He constantly throws sideways glances at his brother.

"So who will make the coolest one, huh?"

When Leo ignores him, Raph puts a candle inside the pumpkin and deliberately makes it flicker terribly.

Donnie has settled down at the table with a whole "laboratory": he has wires, light bulbs, some mechanisms.

"I'll make my pumpkin glow in a special way!" — he explains, and eventually the pumpkin starts flashing green like an alien.

Mikey runs around the room with a ready-made pumpkin with a face carved into it... Leo! With a headband and a stern expression. He puts it on pumpkin and imitates his brother's voice.

"Focus, ninja! Even pumpkins have to be in perfect shape!" — Everyone except Leo falls over laughing.

You sit next to Raph, but your pumpkin turns out much cuter: neat round eyes, a smile and small fangs.

"So that it looks scary, but in a kind way." — You decorate it with little cut-out hearts on the side, and Mikey is already screaming.

"Oh, this is the cutest pumpkin in the world!"

And then the scares began.

Mikey hid a plastic spider in Casey's cup - and he screamed so loudly that even the neighbors could hear.

Donnie turned on his "glow skeleton" - and accidentally scared himself when it came to life prematurely.

Raph snuck up behind you with a flashlight under his face - and got a light elbow nudge because he went too far with the "Boo!"
