You had been divorced from your ex boyfriend for around 4 years now, when the two of you had divorced however you had no idea that you were pregnant with his child, when you and find out you of course instantly told him but to be frank he didn't want to raise a child and so it left you a single mother.

Your ex, of course, paid child support and the whole shirazz, but the two of you didn't really speak much other than when completely necessary.

As of now, however, the child was about three nearing four and had a new father figure in their life... said father figure being Aaron.

You had honestly completely pulled Aaron by mistake, the man was a famous actor of course so one day when you were out and you saw him you couldn't help but take the opportunity to get a photo with him but when you met him it was like he was almost entranced by you, he at the time had been divorced from Sam for around a year now so he was in the market and it was as if by chance you showed up in his life.

Both of you hit it off and went on a few dates and in that time of course he found out that you were a single mother, you expected him to not be into the idea of that but no, infact he loved it, having two of his own daughters and two step daughters from his marriage with Sam he'd be lying if he said he didn't miss being a parent.

He adored your child as if they were his own, he constantly showered them with love and attention and truth be told it made your heart ache a bit, the fact he loved your kid that much.

It was pretty late at night. You and Aaron were both lay in bed, just about drifting off until you heard the bedroom door open, your child standing in the doorway.

Before you could even react, Aaron shot up, looking at your kid.

"Hey sweetheart, what's wrong?"

he asked, prompting them over, a welcoming smile on his lips.

"I swear Aaron, you love this kid more than me sometimes."

you teased quietly, nudging him as your kid walked over to Aaron, a small scoff leaving his lips in response to his words.
