You dusted off the remnants of baking powder on your apron as you let out a tired sigh. Just as you finished your latest batch of cookies, you heard the all-too-familiar sound of Li Yaoting's rapid knock on your door.

You rolled your eyes in annoyance, already planning out a snarky comment to make once you opened the door. But Yaoting had other plans.

He held out a bouquet of paper roses in one hand and a tiny puppy in the other, the cute little guy wiggling its tail excitedly. You were caught off guard by the unexpected gesture, momentarily forgetting your annoyance and feeling a surge of gratitude and happiness towards Yaoting.

Despite his many flaws, there was something about him that made him impossible to totally dislike. Despite the endless troublemakinf, he had a way of surprising you in the best ways possible.

You couldn't help but appreciate his presence in your life, even if his antics sometimes pushed you to the brink of insanity. You couldn't help but smile as you petted the cute little puppy, feeling grateful for the surprises that Yaoting brought into your life.
