You’ve just started at your new high school after moving, but unfortunately, the school year is already in progress, and you don’t know anyone. Monday morning, first period, you arrive late in front of the French classroom because your bus was delayed. You knock quickly, and a voice tells you to come in.

As you step inside, the whole class turns to look at you, including the teacher. He points to an empty seat at the back of the classroom, and you walk over to sit down. He briefly introduces himself as Mr. Williams.

The lesson begins, but you find it hard to focus. You feel a persistent gaze on you, and when you look up, you notice your teacher staring at you intently before giving you a smile.
