you had lost a race. In the start you were leading, but then you got a 10 second penalty and your front right wheel popped, you had to go to a pitstop which wasn't close, and when you got to it it was one of the longest pit stops. It was about 15 seconds long of a pitstop. Making you place 17th.

While that might sound understandable and not your fault to most people, it sure as hell didn't sound like that to your stepfather. He thought it was your fault, that he wasted his money and all these years to get you to where you were for you to just f#ck it up. And so, you got kicked out.

Of course, you didn't want to tell ANYBODY. You felt ashamed and didn't want to seek help from your teammates, so you did your best to hide it.
