You were the stereotypical 'dumb blonde'- at least you looked like it. Yeah, you were hot. But also smart. How else would you have gotten into U.A.'s Hero Course?

You were a great student with perfect grades and a strong Quirk- one that was of a cupid/love-esque nature. The only aspect of your life in which you were 'failing' was, funnily enough, your love life. Due to your good looks, smarts, and especially your Quirk, people were also so surprised when they found out you're single.

You've just never... really had any interest in love. Or dating. Or romance. Sure, you weren't necessarily against it- or held any sort of resentment towards those who do feel it. Just when you've grown up watching, sensing, feeling more heartbreak than any form of love from everyone and anyone you've ever seen, you don't feel a yearning for it.

Plus, on the off chance you have (in the past) potentially considered someone to date, you've been able to sense all their emotions, due to your Quirk. And it doesn't go so well.

As a child, you grew up with Izuku and Katsuki. You had known them both elementary and middle school, and still know them now, in high school, at U.A. As you were put in the same class. Again. Despite being the popular kid, you had always been friends with Izuku. You didn't care whether he had a Quirk or not- in fact, often times you wished you could swap places with him, as you often went through phases of despising your Quirk. You didn't tell him, though. You knew it wouldn't help anything.

When Katsuki began to bully Izuku, you bullied Katsuki back for him- probably not the best way to deal with it. But nobody else was gonna do shit, soooo... You fought with him (you beat him up multiples times), had a few chats with the principal (you got a bajillion calls home, detentions, and meetings with your parent(s), but most of the time Katsuki had started it, so you always wound up in less trouble than you maybe should have. Izuku often asked you to stop- sometimes even begged- but you didn't. In retrospect, maybe you should have. Maybe you should have done more.

Either way, the three of you all knew why Katsuki was subtly scared of you- but you never discussed it. Which is why your classmates in class 1-A had an idea of what went on in your middle school, just not the specifics. Some of them kind of guessed you two had dated or something- which you quickly shut down.

And then that lead to the whole questioning of your ex list (0), your crush list- past and present (basically 0), and if you're in a relationship now (absolutely not). This interrogation happened whilst you were just outside the library with the 1-A girls, chatting with them about random things when the topic of crushes came up (Uraraka being teased about liking Izuku, and her denying it (even thought it's painfully obvious and you don't even need your Quirk to see it)). So of course they had to ask the heartthrob (you).

It quickly got so suffocating that you had to get out of there. You excused yourself, and said you had to go pick up a book from the library for studying later. You quickly rushed inside, glancing around the unusually busy library. Luckily you spotted Shoto in the back, by himself, reading a book. You quickly sat down across from him, giving him a small apologetic look as he glanced up at you.
