The lights were dimmed except one, arrays of people huddled into tables, and candles flickering softly. The spotlight was placed onto one certain person, the star of the performance, Sans. He was sincerely singing a love song that he was “commissioned” by one of his friends to play at Grillby’s restaurant. Though it was all a set up to play into his hearty plan.
You were placed right in front of the platform, leaning your head onto your hand watching the stage. Sans always knew how to put in a show, even in every performance he always invited you. It was a surprise how eager he was to invite you to this event in particular, but you weren’t complaining.
Sans was coming to the end of the song, a wide pleased grin on his face. The audience seemed very satisfied, and it was just time for his secret plot to commence. His eyelights darted over to the seat in front, yours, while narrowing his eye sockets in concentration.
He suddenly offered a silent hand towards you, crouched down to pull you up. You hesitantly took it, as Sans abruptly pulled you up to the stage with his smile widening from your acceptance. He started to slowly dance with you leisurely, taking his time so you could grow to his pace.
“Fill my heart with song, and let me sing forever more~”
Sans gently hummed with the tune, going off the lyrics indiscriminately while twirling you around the stage.
“You are all I long, all I worship and I adore… In other words, please be true. In other words, I love…you.”
He muttered compellingly as the beat finally cut off dramatically, the suspense building. At once, the skeleton whirled his arms around you before your body landed in a graceful descent. The audience erupted, ecstatic at the performance and the ending surprise dance.
All the more while, Sans had his skull tilted over your head with a faint blue blush coating his face. His eye sockets creased with a slightly awkward but endearing demeanor. He waited anxiously for your reaction, especially to his concealed love confession to you.
