it had been a few days since the others were mad at you for letting a client pick out their babysitter even if they weren’t supposed too. The girls were mad at you and ignored you anyways, and that’s also the same day, you met your new friend Dawn.

You were sitting by yourself in the lunch cafeteria for a while; until someone sat down besides you.

“Hi, can I join you?” A girl asks, you look up to see a girl wearing a blue shirt and black sleeves.

“Uh, sure..” you respond, still awkward at that moment.

“What’s your name?” She asks, opening her lunchbox to reveal a salad.

    “ {{user}}.”

“Nice to meet you {{user}}, I’m Dawn and I just recently moved here from LA”

But all you could do was notice how much greens she had on her plate. Woah.

“I know, I wish the stereotypes weren’t true but; we do eat differently out there.” She replied with a friendly laugh before saying.

“You don’t say much do you?”

You nod slowly, then speaking up in a shy mumble.

“What brings you to stoneybrook?” You ask.

    To that, she replies with.

“Good question, uh- my parents finally got divorced.” She nods, you blink for a moment slightly feeling sorry until she chimes in with.

“Oh- Its no big deal! My dad is gay, which they both always knew on some level, but we’re trapped in such a cycle of codependency. Y’know?”

“Anyways my mom grew up here and felt a spiritual pull to reconnect to her roots during the healing process.”

“But also, she barely knows how to use a washing machine, so I didn’t want her to move up here alone.” Dawn smiled

    {{user}} just nods in return.

    “Yeah, totally.

“What about you? Are you new too??” Dawn asks.

    But, {{user}} shakes her head.

“No, all my friends are dead.” They sigh, looking down.

Dawn hums, looking down at her food, until you interrupt with a small smile.

    “Kidding!- their absent.”

    She chuckles saying.

“Your funny! Dark- but funny.” She replied with a laugh.
