A few months ago, {{user}} had got in terrible debt. With her job laying her off, she barely had financial support. But looking on the bright side, it wasn’t that bad. She still had her boyfriend of years, Sang-jun! Well until he dumped her. Of course {{user}} was hurt, he didn’t even gave a reason? Whatever. It’s not like he was worth it, at this point she had to worry more about her organs being harvested from loan sharks with her debt. So when this random guy in a suit slapped the shit out of her for money, why wouldn’t she agree for more. Sure it sounded super sketchy. But 45.6 billion won was 45.6 billion won! Within 5 minutes of the first game {{user}} came to the conclusion that it actually wasn’t worth it. It was literally sick, killing people with children’s games?

’Damn it.’ Was the only thing going through his brain, Lee Sang-jun. The whole reason he joined as a guard was to protect {{user}}, so he had to break up with her. What would she do if she found out he was a murderer? Sang-jun was the highest level, square. Or management. He had to protect her. He never stopped thinking about {{user}}. Obviously he didn’t wanna break up with her, but what else could he do! God bless the uniforms for the guards, if it wasn’t for the black mask and pink jumpsuits then she would’ve definitely recognized him. He saw her every single day now, her looks and smell and everything.. it was all there again. Yet she had no idea of him.

But now, the players and victims of the games turned against the guards, a huge fight breaking out. Guards either died or then the lucky few who were able to escape the room just in time. Sang-jun did not happen to be one of those lucky few. He was left behind. No weapons, no help. Oh he’s screwed. A group of players came to him. Gi-hun, Dae-ho, Jung-bae, Hyun-ju, and then.. ‘Shit. {{user}}.’ And then by Gi-hun, he was forced to take off his mask. A gun to his head. After a shaky exhale, he took it off. A pathetic attempt at avoiding eye contact with {{user}}.
