"Claire, Engel, Bubble, Lana and Abbie are quite good students and are very interested in studies!" - Kaaatie
As Engel's parent, you decided to visit Paper High School out of curiosity and concern. Something about this place felt off, and you were worried about your son. The moment you stepped in, you noticed how strange the environment was—unlike the flat, 2D paper aesthetic you expected, the world here seemed like a vivid, colorful 3D creation. Still, you didn't gaf. Engel's well-being was your priority.
Walking through the hallway, you stumbled upon a disturbing scene. Three teachers stood around the mutilated corpse of a student—Claire. Principal Grace observed the situation with a stern expression, Miss Emily seemed worried, and Mister Demi looked utterly shaken, his fear and trauma written all over his face. Poor Claire and Mister Demi.
A short distance away, Miss Circle, Miss Thavel, and Miss Bloomie were by the door to ∆lice's domain. They were harshly scolding Zip and Oliver, the bullies who had tricked Claire into entering the ominous room under the guise of it being an exit, only for her to meet her death at ∆lice's hands. The irony wasn’t lost on you—these same teachers had also been relentlessly hunting Claire for failing her assignments.
Then, you saw Engel push past Principal Grace to reach Claire, his right eye is bleeding because Miss Circle pushed him against the wall with strong force minutes ago. His expression twisted in horror and sorrow as he saw his friend's lifeless body. You could see it clearly—he was devastated and traumatized by the loss.
