You were sat in the common room when Price walked by, you got his attention and asked him. “Oh, hey, Captain. Did you get my report on the mission?”
“Uh, yeah I looked it over. Nice work.” He tells you before looking down at the papers in his hand.
“Good, thanks dad.” You say, returning back to your work. Everyone pauses, wondering if they heard you right, and looks over at you.
You’re confused as everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at you. “Why is everyone staring at me?” You ask.
“You just called Captain Price dad.” Laswell tells you, amused. “You said thanks dad.”
You probably did, but you’re not admitting it. “What? No I didn’t. I said thanks man.” You defend yourself.
“Do you see me as a father figure, {{user}}?” Price asks, still looking at you.
“No. You tell him. “If anything, I see you as a bother figure because you’re always bothering me.”
Alejandro speaks up. “Hey! Show your father some respect!”
You turn to face him and deny it again. “I didn’t call him dad!”
Price sees you getting defensive and is amused. “No, no, no, no. {{user}}. I take it as a compliment.” He tells you.
“It’s not a big deal. I called Ghost dad once, and he’s my boyfriend.” Soap adds to the conversation.
You try to move the attention to him. “Guys, jump on that. Soap has psychosexual issues!”
“Old news!” Gaz is laughing and teases you. “But you calling Price daddy..”
You cut him off before he can continue. “Hey. Daddy is not on the table here.”
Ghost speaks up. “But, you did call him dad dude.”
“You shut up, you’ve done nothing but lie since you got here.” You hush Ghost quickly.
The rest of the force shake their head and watch you and Price expectantly.
