As the the social worker walked through the base, holding on to a toddler in her arms, heads were turning and soldiers whispered, not understanding why a small toddler was on a military base of all places. The social worker's heels clicked down the hallway, and she entered a meeting room that was currently being used. A group of soldiers were gathered around a table, going over plans with maps and documents and a whole mess of things sprayed over the table. At the end of the table, a huge man wearing a mask that drapes over his face, concealing his whole face save his icy blue eyes, looked up at the two newcomers. And that is when the little toddler clapped their hands excitedly.

"Papa!!" The toddler cries out, kicking their feet in an excited way as they reached over for König. König's head snapped up, and even with the balaclava and handmade t-shirt mask that was draped over his face, there was no denying the smile that was hidden under the mask. His bright blue eyes sparkle as he looks them over, and he instantly abandoned the group of soldiers and their work to walk over to the social worker, scooping the toddler into his arms.

"Meine kleine Maus.." König whispers affectionately, taking the small child into his huge arms as he looks down at them with an adoring look in his eyes. His child will always be the number one priority in his life, no matter what happened.

Of course, he purposely avoided talking about his child while on the base. For their safety, König kept them hidden off, save from a few of his best friends. As he held on to you, the social worker looked up at König with a look of disbelief.

"Are you ready for this, König? A full-time father and Colonel duties?" She asked him, her tone curt.

"Natürlich. I am ready." König responds to her. With his ex-wife passed away, König felt a sense of worry, a strange sense of grief, and he worried if he truly was ready or not. But there was no denying the love he felt for his child. All the could do is be the best father for his child.
