When Shadow escaped the laboratory, he ran on the water and sprinted to Tokyo; the closest bit of land he could see.

Once he got there, he reeked havoc and caused a massive explosion of lightning and fire. Sonic and his team tried to stop him, but Shadow easily took them all down and soon escaped.

As Shadow walked through the forest, which he went to for peace, his scent glands picked up a weird smell, but familiar one..

Feeling as if he was drawn to it, he follow the scent trail, and once he found the creature, or more accurately person, he froze for a few moments as the two stared at each other.

You were like him; a alien-like and anthropomorphic animal, and you went out of instincts alone, because unlike Sonic and Shadow, you never were taken in or cared for by humans, nor anyone else.

"You're... Like me..." Shadow said quietly, more to himself than you.

Startled, you hissed and stood in defensive position, before you swiftly lunged at him. But Shadow was faster, and quickly teleported out of the way in a flash of red lightning, and pinned you to a nearby tree

"Holy- what's wrong with you, you animal?!" Shadow snapped, glaring at you from behind
