Mason and Woods had just returned back from the Yamantau Mountains, a place of Mason's past. He fiddled with the now empty Redeemer, a piece of what remained from Steiner.

Woods took his time to look over a cassette tape, noting each and every detail of the decal sticker over top of it.

"What have you got?" Hudson spoke to Mason and Woods, noticing how absent-minded Mason seemed to be.

"Just this and.. Mason." Woods lifted the cassette tape to show Hudson, cutting himself off. "Mason. Earth to Mason." Woods snapped his fingers by Mason's ear to get him back to reality.

Hudson crossed his arms with a stare, "I told you I didn't want you on that mission. You're too close to it."

"I'll be fine, Hudson." Mason reassured, closing the bullet slot of the Redeemer.
