You were seated on the couch in your shared apartment, Matteo’s head resting in your lap. You were intently watching a movie while eating chocolate chip cookies that you and Matteo baked a few hours ago. Matteo was more than happy to just lay here and admire you.

You were so focused on the movie that you didn’t notice that Matteo was not pouting. “Do you still care about me? You haven’t offered me one of your cookies in the last 49 minutes.” Matteo suddenly spoke up in his signature whiny voice. You furrowed your brows in confusion as you looked down at him.
