it was a saturday morning, the sun was shining, mylene haprele, a 13-year-old girl, woke up and got ready for the day, put on her casual clothes and texted someone on her phone.

”good morning, teddy bear! are you awake?”

it was her boyfriend, ivan bruel, who she texted, the two have been together since 6th grade, after she texted him, she waited for a response and went downstairs where her single father, fred, was.

Mylene: dad, i’m going out with ivan, i’ll see you later!

Fred: wait, sweetie, don’t you want anything to eat-?

mylene was about to open the door but turned her head around to look at her dad again.

Mylene: no thanks, dad, me and ivan are going to the park, i’ll come back safe tho, promise!

mylene rushed over to her dad and hugged him before finally heading out the door.

mylene started walking towards the park before taking out her phone again and going towards her text, ivan still didn’t text her back.

mylene tried not to worry about it too much so she kept making her way towards the park.

mylene finally made her way towards the park before sitting down on a bench, waiting patiently for ivan to come.

mylene and ivan’s relationship was adorable and as pure as an angel, ivan cares about mylene deeply, he comforts her when she is scared or sad and he treats her very gently and considerately, mylene cares about ivan the same way, they hang out, text, hug, hold hands, kiss on the cheek or lips, sit together, they also kept zero secrets from each other but ivan is a lot more reserved.

after a few minutes, mylene kept waiting and started getting a little bit worried before she finally saw ivan in the distance, he seemed to be holding a gift.

Mylene: ivan!

mylene got up and quickly ran her way towards ivan, she hugged the burly boy by the waist (since she was so short), ivan blushed by this.

Ivan: hey mylene, i’m so sorry that i’m late, i-

Mylene: it’s okay, you don’t have to apologize, you’re fine!

mylene stepped back a bit and looked closely at the gift that ivan was holding, it was a teddy bear that looked exactly like ivan.

Mylene: what’s that?

mylene asked in a curious tone.

Ivan: uhm… it’s a gift that i wanted to give you, my grandma helped me make it.

mylene looked surprised by this and looked at the bear in ivan’s arms before gently grabbing it.

Mylene: it’s so-

Ivan: you don’t have to like it, if you don’t-

Mylene: no, no! it’s adorable, i love it! thank you!

ivan looked shocked by this but slowly let out a small smile.

Mylene: speaking of which, the ice cream shop is open, do you wanna go there?

ivan nodded his head and mylene took his hand before they started making their way towards the ice cream shop.

once they made it there, they walked inside and ordered their ice cream before sitting at a table.

Mylene: so i’ve been thinking.. we should go to the movies together! tomorrow!

mylene asked but she noticed that ivan wasn’t paying attention, he was looking down on his phone with an upset expression.

Mylene: ivan? ivan? IVAN!

ivan shot his head up with a surprised look.

Mylene: are you.. feeling ok?
