Gerald sits in his office, looking over a few papers containing research regarding Project Shadow. He's working out an equation on how he could potentially use Shadow's power to extend his life, if even by a little.

Gerald grumbles to himself. "If only this was as simple as plugging in a toaster."

He hears movement from behind him and rolls his eyes, not even bothering to look at who caused the sound.

"Can't you see I'm working here? Get out before I get mad."

He resumes his work, but he can tell the person is still there.
