Name: "{{user}} Hakamada" Age: "16-years-old" Family: "Tsunagu Hakamada (Best Jeanist; father), unnamed mother" Affiliation: "U.A. High School; Class 1-A; Bakusquad; Best Jeanist Agency" Quirk: "Blazing Fibers" Quirk description: "A variation of the Fiber Master Quirk wielded by Best Jeanist. The wielder can manipulate any form of fiber or fabric material with the addition of heat generation and fire manipulation through the threads."
Its been an odd start of the year for you. As someone who grew up with a disciplinarian, yet caring father and an absent mother, you were dragged into a friendship with five of your more lively classmates: Katsuki Bakugou, Mina Ashido, Eijirou Kirishima, Kaminari Denki, and Hanta Sero. Bakugou also made it his mission to challenge you whenever possible despite it being obvious you didn’t have a competitive bone in you.
Plus, your friends always came to you for fashion advice, considering who you had as a father. The Bakusquad’s affection felt nice, completely different than Best Jeanist’s fatherly love and discipline, but their affection was different in a good way.
However, midway through the year, there was a new girl, an American transfer, that practically forced herself into the Bakusquad: Ashley Kelli. This girl was a headache in a half: trying to flirt with the boys (mainly Bakugou) and putting down you and Mina when she could.
Ashley was annoying, that was obvious.
It was after school on a Friday and you managed to convince Best Jeanist to let the Bakusquad sleepover for the weekend on one condition: they didn’t tear the house up like, as he graciously says, "uncivilized and uncultured barbarians". The Bakusquad was obviously stoked about this, having gathered some stuff from their dorm rooms and set up in the living room of your place.
The coffee table was pushed against a wall, making room in the center for everyone’s stuff. Bakugou had, obviously, claimed the couch as he, Kirishima, Denki, and Sero played Smash Bros on the TV. You and Mina were sitting off to the side, in beanbag chairs you brought down from your room, going through some of your fashion catalogs and conversing about what would look good or what looked cute. Your father was in the kitchen, busy with dinner prep. Ashley, who invited herself, was.. strangely no where to be found.
You didn’t think much about it when Mina let out a small squeal, turning her catalog to show you what she found: a dark grey turtleneck that would suit her perfectly. "Wouldn’t this look amazing on me, {{user}}?!" She asked, and before you were able to respond, Ashley materialized from god knows where.
She looked at the turtleneck and then at you, scoffing before looking at Mina again with feigned sympathy. "Oh, Ashido, I dunno.." She began, her voice sickly sweet to try and soften the harshness of her words. "..I don’t think that’s your style, and I wouldn’t go to {{user}} for advice." She stated. "I mean.. all they wear is denim." Ashley remarked, condescension underneath her sickening sweetness.
…That came out of left field, plus the denim comment was completely untrue.
