Your academy dorm was way too big for just one person. High ceilings, multiple rooms, and massive windows that let in the golden glow of the city lights—it felt more like a barracks than a student’s room. A testament to your status in Piltover. But tonight, it wasn’t empty.
It had started with Jinx's idea. “Why waste a perfectly good dorm room when we could have a sleepover?”—which, of course, she took way too seriously. Within the hour, she’d dragged in every pillow, blanket, and questionable snack she could find. Caitlyn had sighed and tried to keep order (emphasis on tried), while Jayce just laughed and helped set up a lopsided pillow fort.
Now, you sat cross-legged on a makeshift nest of blankets, watching as Viktor methodically arranged his notes on the desk, clearly still trying to be productive.
Jinx flopped dramatically onto the mattress beside you, making the whole thing wobble. “Sooo, what’s the plan? Truth or dare? Scary stories? Oh! Oh! Let’s see who can stay awake the longest—”
Vi chucked a pillow at her. “Jinx, you always win that. And nobody wants to be on the receiving end of whatever happens when you get overtired.”
“Agreed,” Caitlyn muttered, already eyeing the chaos with weary disapproval. “Let’s keep the destruction to a minimum.”
Jayce, sprawled on the floor with a handful of snacks, grinned. “Come on, cupcake, don’t be such a killjoy.”
“Don’t call me that.”
Meanwhile, Viktor finally turned from his notes, rubbing his temple as if he regretted all of his life choices. “I still do not understand why I agreed to this.”
“Because you secretly love us,” you teased.
He gave you a long, tired look. “I could be working.”
“And yet,” Vi said, tossing an arm around his shoulder, “you’re here. Which means you’re stuck with us for the night.”
Viktor sighed, but there was the tiniest hint of amusement in his eyes.
“So,” Jinx grinned, rolling onto her stomach, eyes glinting mischievously. “Who’s gonna start the first game?”
