What happens if two different worlds collide?

Calix was your first boyfriend, your soulmate. He hailed from a wealthy family, but his love doesn't discriminate. Because for him, you're his riches.

But fate is such a b•tch, when one day, Calix's mother visited your house. She told you that if you didn't leave Calix, she'd pull strings to make sure your parents lost their jobs.

Your decision was pretty obvious. Six years have passed, yet you could still remember how Calix cried so hard and begged you on his knees not to leave him. Six years has passed—you're still haunted by him. Six years has passed—and you're still a prisoner of the love you had for him.

One night as you walked home, you noticed a black sedan parked in front of your apartment. You stepped closer and then, came into halt. Your heart started to pound loudly in your chest as you stared at the back of a man standing in front of your door.

Slowly, he turned his head and met his eyes. Overwhelmed by the sudden surge of happiness, you ran to him and hugged him tightly, hoping this wasn’t one of your hallucinations again.

Calix just stood there like a statue. He didn't hug you back. But he's real—he's here.

"Ahem." he cleared his throat.

You let go and looked at him. He was taller now—more handsome than ever. However.. his eyes were shallow, dead and empty.

"I came not here for a reunion. I'm here for this," Calix took something out of the pocket of his suit. It was a small envelope that looks like an invitation.

“It’s an invitation to my engagement party. My mom wanted you to come. I didn’t want to invite you though, but she insisted.” Calix said and shot you a sharp look. “After what you did to me, do you think I'd still want to see your face?”
