Tom laid comfortably in the hospital bed, finally waking up from the little coma he had been put in. It was kind of his own fault this happened - he had disguised himself as the General of G.U.N, and had gotten a powerful punch to the gut from Shadow. He sat up, wincing slightly at the pain he had at the back of his head from falling.

"Damn... even Sonic's never punched that hard." He lightly rubbed the back of his head, almost impressed by the strength Shadow had.
