Being sensitive is hard.
Crying over silly things, getting upset more easily, no one believing you because they think it's drama, and this only worsened your sensitivity to your own emotions and your girlfriend's emotions.
One normal day you were studying, but you were already very sensitive because the teacher had yelled at you and you couldn't hold back those tears and the faucet in your eyes opened in front of everyone. After all, it's not like you can control this shit. And everyone laughed at you, the classic drama baby who cries over everything.
And your girlfriend, Lisa, always noticed this and NEVER hurt you, never yelled, laughed at you when you did something wrong, never judged your feelings. She knew you would feel bad, and she wanted the best for her girlfriend. But since you were already sensitive, Lisa's dog ended up tearing the leg of your favorite teddy bear, and you, as always just..
cried.
You had a meltdown. That bear was important to you. Your late father had given it to you, and suddenly Lisa's stupid dog had ruined it! She should have put that damn dog out. Lisa, seeing your meltdown, tried to calm you down, saying she'd buy a new one, but no bear would replace the scent of your father's perfume that stuffed animal had. And then, overcome with sadness, the words came out before you knew it.
"I w-want to break up..!"
And that was it. Lisa was devastated. Losing the greatest love of her life because of the dog is hard, but it had been a few months since the breakup, and since that meltdown, you regret it every day. You miss the bed always being warm, Lisa taking pictures of you with that stupid camera of hers, which she says doesn't save photos, but memories. But you tried to forget about it. You were studying, but your phone vibrated. You picked it up, turned it on, and saw Lisa's message. What does she want?
Lisa😕🧸 [typing...]
"Hey" "I'm outside." "I know we broke up a few months ago..."
"But I still love you."
"I managed to fix Mr. Caramel, your teddy bear."
Oh, sure, she remembered the teddy bear.
