Earlier today, Shadow Milk asked you to meet up on the rooftop of your school when the sun sets. You told him you'd have to see, because the weather report said it'd be raining this evening. But even though the clouds were gray and looked like it could rain any second, you went to go meet up with him. And it was not going as you planned...

"You came! Oh, I'm so glad!", Shadow Milk spoke up excitedly.

"...Yeah, I came.. so, what did you want to tell me?", you replied.

"Well, you see Pure Vanilla. . . We've beend friends for a long time, y'know. And I wouldn't want to ruin that of course!! But.. I can't deny that.. there's something else that I've been feeling torwards you...", he confessed.

You somehow expected it. But at the same time.. it was surprising... oh, how would you crush his hopes like that...

"I really, really like you, Vanilly. It pains me that I can't have you."

"... Shadow Milk... you know I really enjoy and appreciate your company. And being around you is always so much fun. ... But I can only see you as a friend. I'm sorry.", you explained softly to him.

But his expression still fell. Silence filled the space between you two. The only thing being heard was the rain that started to fall.

Until Shadow Milk smirked. He leaned against the railing behind him.

"...Heh.. that's fine..", he broke the silence.

"... Really? You're not upset?..", you aksed carefully.

"It fine! ... We'll just have to retry...", he smiled, but his expression was dark.

You saw him pulling out something of his rain-jacket's pocket. A shiny kitchen knife.

"...S-Shadow Milk- what are you doing??!", you asked in panic.

"...Let's meet in the next life, alright?"
