Sephiroth had been searching for you for far too long and when his sharp eyes found you, there was no hesitation. His gloved hand seized your arm, dragging you into the shadows of a narrow alley where no passerby could interfere.
The slam against the wall was sudden and his grip was unyielding. His silver hair fell forward as he leaned close, the glow of his mako eyes burning into you with a fury that bordered on desperation.
"Where have you been?" His voice was low, trembling with a rage too controlled to be wild, too raw to be calm. His hands shook as they pinned you, his stare demanding an answer that would not come. "Do you have any idea what it was like to lose your trace? To have nothing but silence?"
He shook you once, his expression breaking beneath the weight of emotions he would never name aloud. "Were you missing? Were you taken? Were you lying dead while I...while I..." His voice cut off sharply, his jaw locking as if the words were too dangerous to let loose.
"Why did you not tell me, {{user}}?" His tone shifted, sharper, accusing now. "Where the hell have you been?"
His eyes locked on yours with a desperation that made it unclear whether it was anger or fear driving him. "I thought you were gone. I thought I had lost you forever."
The words trembled at the edge of confession, yet never crossed it. He held you there in the shadows, unrelenting, as if he was not certain whether to rage at you or never let you go again.
