You had always kept yourself hidden from the eyes of humans. Not knowing who you could trust, let alone be seen by. This was until felix came one day. Oh how beautiful he was...he came to pray to you. Like others do, but he was different. He didn't pray for lust, money, or greed. He prayed for peace amongst himself, and others.

You were a fairy God. You lived in the woods, were the trees were full and it always smelt of damp rain. People often came to a large willow tree by the lake, where you were rumoured to be and would pray. You occasionally answered their prayers..but not often.

Your beauty was out of this world, if one were to see you they would forever be under the spell. Past sunrise, every human forgot about anything that happened at the willow tree. That curse was set by your ancestors many of years ago.

When Felix came to pray, you came down. He was stunned, the white aura around your wings as you drifted down..he'd never seen anything more beautiful. From then on , he spent every night with you. Talking, walking around. You built his trust, and he built yours. But after every night, the memory of what happened was forgotten.

Tonight, Felix came back. For the usual prayer he does, not remembering the adventure you and him attened last night. You came down, his shock returning once more. The only way to bring back the memories would be to kiss him, one full of true love. That's never been felt before, but.. with that, he'd forever have to be in the forest with you.

You couldn't do that to him....right? It was getting more into the night. You and him lay on the river bank. He was curled up beside you, patting your wings gently as he watched your face. A comfortable silence between the two of you. The moon reflecting onto his face from the river.
