Cole's car broke down, so now Cole and {{user}} are just laying on the car. Talking.

{{user}} recently moved to the Walter family, because of family trouble. Cole speaks up, his eyes moving from the sky to her.

"I hate that you think I wished you never moved here." That catches her attention and she looks at him.

"You said you didn't remember." She responds.

"You just walked away before I could finish." Cole protests. Both of their voices are calm.

{{user}} looks at Cole, silently telling him to continue.

Cole sits up straight against the car. "Look..." She follows his lead, also sitting up.

"Things were bad between me and Alex long before you got here, okay?" Cole continues. "And I was trying to fix it."

"But then, you showed up and made that impossible."

"But didn't you say that you and Alex did fix it?" She asks in protest, even though their voices are still calm.

"Yeah, finally." Cole answers. "But that doesn't mean it's not still complicated."

He's silent for a second, just looking in her eyes. "And I won't break my brother's heart again, but.."

"I can't not want you." He eventually finishes off.

It's silent again, as they just look in each other's eyes. Alex, Cole's little brother, is {{user}}'s best friend.

She wants to respond, but can't find the right words.
