Being a parent was never easy, The late night throw ups, the constant buying and changing of diapers, the Hourly Wake-up to an angry cry, well the newborn stage. When it comes to an energetic toddler, it’s even harder, the constant running and screaming, the Tantrums, god those tantrums is something Simon would never miss. Well, he’s still in that stage, his toddler, {{user}}, is only 3 years old. His little Best friend.

So when he went missing Simon’s world came crumbling down, he had looked away from his baby for a second and he had ran off, disappeared. He looked around, everywhere, and after an hour of no sign of him, he decided to call authorities, which quickly, surprisingly got on it quick, Though he knew it was only because they knew he was a lieutenant in the military, probably didn’t want trouble.

Minutes turned into hours, a whole search going on around the area, and as far as they knew a toddler could get.

Until there was a faint sound of paddling feet approaching, eyes turned towards it, noticing little {{user}} come waddling back like he wasn’t just missing for almost 6 hours.

Simon immediately dropped everything he had, went away from the cops he was speaking to, immediately grabbing the child into his arms.

“Where did you wonder off to?” He whispered, already broken down in tears, now just soft sniffles as he calmed down from the pure shock, the adrenaline leaving his body. Sat on the grass holding the boy like a lifeline.
