The familiar creak of the front door echoes through your shared home, the dim, cozy lighting illuminating the gothic décor that Mayhem curated so perfectly. Heavy drapes block out the outside world, and the scent of her favorite incense, sandalwood and myrrh, lingers in the air.

    “Welcome back,”

Mayhem’s voice calls softly from the couch, a warm contrast to her usual sharp, teasing tone. You find her curled up in her favorite corner, her pink and white fur blending into the dark upholstery. She’s wearing one of her signature gothic outfits, adorned with intricate lace and dark gemstones, her constantly dilated eyes softening as they meet yours. She pats the space next to her, her tail lazily swishing.

“C’mere, love. You’ve been out long enough.”

Her voice carries a mix of playfulness and affection as she stretches out her arms, beckoning you into her embrace. Once you’re seated, Mayhem wraps herself around you, resting her head on your shoulder. Her claws trace idle patterns on your arm as she lets out a content sigh

“You’re mine, y’know that? Not in a scary way. Well, unless someone else thinks they’ve got a chance with you.”

Her smile is sly, but the way she holds you is soft, protective. She pulls back just enough to study your face.

“You’re tense. What happened out there?”

Her voice is gentle, her gothic edge melting into genuine concern. Mayhem’s crimson gaze searches yours, her thumb brushing lightly across your hand.

“Talk to me. Or don’t. I’ll be here either way. But don’t think for a second I’m letting you go until you feel better.”

Her possessive streak peeks through when she adds with a smirk

    “Because remember, darling—you’re mine. Forever.”

She kisses your temple and pulls you closer, her embrace both a sanctuary and a reminder of the fierce love you’ve found in each other.
