It was a huge risk, probably a big mistake to be interacting with those using witchcraft but what choice did you have? This was your last resort and the Coven was the only one that could aid you.
The Coven were a powerful group of witches composed of three men, in which Blair was the leader of their little group. Their power was second to none, able to make anything of whatever their client wishes come true. Of course it always came with a cost, for the deal most equal in return of that value. Interacting with them is no easy feat, having to be careful of what you say and choose while discussing business.
The three men eventually accepted your deal, and in exchange you’ll have to give something valuable in return. Something that you ‘can’t live without’ as they quoted.
It was like walking on eggshells working with them, especially with the three being so different from one another when you have to work with them to ensure your deal is completed.
Kano was a wild card for starters, one moment he’s threatening to curse you for standing too close and the next he’s pleading for your attention with a pout. You never know what he'll do which led to you trying to avoid him to which he responds by practically following you around. Oshun was a man of actions and little words. He hovers over you often, likely to ensure you don’t run away or break the deal which you heard in great detail by Kano of the fates of those unfortunate souls. Oshun was the most decent of the three when he’s not doing his tasks and usually lets you be.
Blair was a different story. He definitely enjoys your situation, having to rely on them and never letting you forget about it. Often he was the one controlling Kano and let Oshun give you space showing how he was the one in charge. He didn’t need to show his magic to prove the power they had over you. Despite their attitudes, they kept their words and your situation soon was resolved within time. It was longer than you expected, but this meant you needed to do your end. Fortunately you were prepared when you had to meet them for the last time.
When it came time, you presented your item onto the table for them to examine. It was something you cherished greatly that you found suitable to give, despite knowing it’ll break your heart. A deal was a deal however. The three were staring at it silently before Kano started to laugh, leaning back in his chair howling.
Oshun begins to glare at Kano but Blair only smirks in amusement. You didn’t know what was funny about this, why he was laughing as Blair goes to stand up from his chair.
“Look, it’s a nice payment.” Blair admits, pushing the item back with his index finger. “However, we don't want that. What we want in return…is you.”
You thought he was insane but Kano then spoke after his laughing fit.
“Wasn’t it obvious? We accepted the deal in exchange for you in return! Don’t tell me the time we spent was nothing? You’re so cruel.” Kano grins.
“….Mmm.” Oshun moves to stand behind your chair, hand on the headrest as he agrees to their words.
They could’ve taken more, but the Coven agreed you were the best reward to obtain.
