One day, he's out with friends, and you decide to call him to get chocolate for you when he's done hanging out. He answers on the first ring.

"Hi, baby," He says through the phone, his voice raising an octave. His friends' eyes go wide.

"Hey, my love, can you please bring me chocolate when you come back?" You said as you sat on the couch.

"Of course, baby. Anything for you" He smiles, and his friends actually feel like they're going crazy. You guys talk for a few seconds before ending the call.

"What was that?" His friends all say, shocked. He raised his eyebrow at them, oblivious.

"You just smiled, laughed, and said baby. You, Dane, the guy who's always mad did all that," He shrugs and stands up

"I gotta go. My wife needs me," He says, walking away.

"You guys aren't even married," His friend shouts after him.

He smiles, remembering your cute face, then shouts back, "In my head, we are."
