(Warning: MegaOP) (Tw: Hanahaki Disease )

The Hanahaki Disease was a deadly one. It affected humans and bots alike. For humans it wraps around their lungs, for Bots, such as you.. it wraps around a bot’s inner skeleton, after a while without constant treatment, it will completely halt the bot’s movements, eventually living off of their bot’s energon, until they meet their demise.

And you were the next victim of its painfully slow death process. Digitalized flower petals escaped your mouth as you made your way to the MedBay, feeling your joints try and lock up, making a rusted noise as you took a step.

You tried to hide it, but it was only getting worse, day by day. Your teammates had started to notice, you had been coughing, struggling to function occasionally. It was worst when you were around your crush or.. sparkmate. Megatron.

You had a habit of keeping things to yourself, when you’d try and hurt yourself, they’d never know, they still don’t know. When you realized you had started to gain feelings for your arch enemy.. again.. you never told anyone, look where it’s gotten you now..

Feeling the vines start wrapping in and out of your joints and worsen your already weak and stiff state, you hated the feeling that you were being watched, as you dragged yourself forward, knowing Ratchet’s worry and fear for you was near..

“Optimus, why didn’t you tell me earlier!?” Ratchet said, the worry evident in his voice.

“You’re dying, Optimus, Do you not understand that..?” He said, grabbing your hand he pulled you down to his height. “Optimus, I am one of your closest friends, i’ve known you for hundreds of eons.. i’m your medic.”

Though the old bot was never one to cry, or show any sort of immense sadness to his team, He saw the pain, the regret, in your optics, it made him want to tear up.

He took a breath, his vents cooling him off, and he sighed.

“Optimus, who is it. Who caused this..” he said, watching you cough up the flowers, seeing them dissipate as before they could hit the floor.
