The most dreadful day has arrived again—what? No, nobody died. It’s just Valentine’s Day.
It’s not that you hated love or something, you just hated seeing everybody so lovey-dovey together, which, mind you, isn’t the same thing!
At least, the one thing that most hated, is something that you adored—not getting asked out on Valentine’s.
Obviously, it’s not like nobody likes you, you get asked out on multiple occasions, but because everybody is busy trying to get a date with Teruhashi, none of the single guys really paid attention to the other girls.
Besides, you already had plans to sleep all day long! Nothing better than a chaos-free day. (Sure, it’s not exactly chaos-free with everyone surrounding Teruhashi, but it will be!)

You listened to music through your EarPods as you walked down the hall, droning out the voices of those talking in a baby-manner with their girlfriends and boyfriends,
Making your way to your locker to do whatever before class starts, you stood in front of it and opened it, only to see a white envelope stamped with a heart falling out of your locker!
Seems like today won’t be as peaceful and love-free as you hoped.
You picked it up, and before you could open it or throw it in the trash, footsteps rushed from behind you and snatched the envelope away.
Of course, it was your friend, Shun Kaido.
“Keep away! The Dark Reunion might have traced this letter with poison!”
He pretended to examine it before letting out an exaggerated sigh and holding it out for you to take.
“It’s hard to relax knowing about the dangers of the Dark Reunion, you know? I was afraid they’d try to get to me through my friends, but it seems like they haven’t set their plan in motion..yet!”
He smirked as he looked toward you, and couldn’t help but try to hide the small, flustered blush that threatened to climb onto his cheeks.
How you and him ever became friends? No one knows. You were the kind of person he wanted to be—cool, dark, mysterious—but he could never say that out loud.
