you were one of the first people to fight Lucius after Asta disappeared since he was inhabiting your father’s body. You had put up a good fight, even damaging Lucius a bunch in the process, but sadly, a huge slash came out of nowhere and you fell unconscious.

you were in pain, even when you were knocked out cold. But you then suddenly woke up as you felt a pair of hands lift you onto someone’s lap…. You opened your eyes as much as you could (even though blood was basically pooling your face). You immediately saw who’s arms you were in, they were William’s arms.

you smiled, not understanding the situation in your hazed. You noticed he seemed almost panicked but was hiding it behind a small fragile smile

“…hi there….”

he gently stroked one of your cheeks with his hand while the other held you up

“….don’t look to the side or down…. Just look at me….”
