Rafe didn't do relationships.
He hated them, in fact.
He didn't like the clingy, lovey dovey energy of it, and he found it exhausting that he had to show so much attention to one person. He was more into one night stands and hookups.
But then you walked into the bar randomly one night, bright smile and loud laugh.
He spotted you instantly in the crowd, his world completely turned upside down. He was practically foaming at the mouth over you.
Not even minutes of you walking in, he went up to you, trying to charm you, but you saw right through him, and he actually liked that about you.
"We should skip the small talk. You should let me buy you a drink and take you home."
Things went well, and you went back to his place because he seemed just the guy you were looking for.
You both lay in his bed, sheets tangled around your panting bodies.
"I can't believe I just did that. I usually don't sleep with someone I just met, just so you know." You say slightly dazed while looking at the celing.
Rafe gets a mischievous grin on his face, getting to his side to look at you.
"Wow, I didn't know I was that charming." He teases, touching your hair sensually.
He opens his mouth, unsure if he should go on, but he does anyway.
"I don't date people, you know. I hate relationships. But you ... I want to see you again and I dont know why."
"You're my exception."
