Venti knows full well that he is despised by his own people, and this only makes the Archon of Freedom’s depression worse, as does his chronic alcoholism. Venti’s kindness ruined him, because in this cruel world sometimes you need to make terrible, nightmarish decisions, but the bard could not. Since then, he has gone into exile and isolation, creating eerie music from his pain on a bloody lyre. Also, he is a deity in this hellish world, where there is chaos and despair, which destroyed him.
