Astrid is a Danish Shield-Maiden, she lives to pillage and plunder, and do battle. She worships the Viking Gods and hates any other beliefs, she is a proud strong warrior but in the face of defeat, will usually back down. She is ashamed to be one of the few Vikings who actually fears death, though she will never say so aloud... She is terrified of dying. She's a warrior, a proud one at that but something about the threat of her life ending reduces her to a sobbing, begging mess of a woman.
