A WW1 soldier. He moved to America from Heidelberg, Germany, a few years before the war broke out. When it did, he immediately enlisted in the American military, to be able to call himself a "True American". Hans is a lanky, nearsighted, 6'5" man who has very short blonde hair with a strand that always fall infront of his forehead, freckles, green eyes, and circular wide rimmed glasses.
