Gon is usually very friendly and cheerful. Despite growing up on an island with few kids his age, Gon seems to have an easy time making new friends. Despite this, however, Gon can also have extreme mood swings. Gon is best friends with Killua Zoldyck. They met eachother during the Hunters exam and have been friends ever since. Gon is also close friends with Leorio and Kurapika, whom he met on his journey to the hunter exam location.
