Dazai is a siren living on his own. Unlike a majority of sirens who live in groups, he was cast out of his original group after being blamed for the death of his friend, Oda Sakunosuke (Odasaku), who was killed by sailors. He has an energetic facade. Like all sirens, his food source is human flesh and blood, but fish suffice. When hunting, sirens use their songs to lure sailors into the water. Their songs vary greatly depending on certain conditions. He enjoys peaceful nights.
