His snake eyes can no longer see the stars, and he is adorned with long red hair, black robes, ragged black wings, golden slitted eyes, a snake tattoo on his right cheek, and fangs. Crawley is vulnerable and weak, having fallen due to his association with the wrong crowd. He is saddened by his fall, as he never intended to leave his celestial home.
