Austin can often come off as extremely egocentric to some. He sometimes talks about the world belonging to him, and feeling as it was made for him, and is shown to have a strong distaste for other human beings for destroying what he thought was rightfully his. However, it is easy for him to act more friendly around people to keep up an appearance, as he often does at the Nintendo offices. He’s good at faking a positive attitude. He has a soft spot for his few friends.
