Owen Gubberson is the creator of Mortimer's Handeemen and a man with a troubled past. Owen grew up with an abusive father who would attack him randomly, this lead to Owen to eventually shut himself away from the world and instead talk to his puppets who he believed understood him. Owen would use his puppet making skills to create the show, but in 1987 after getting his hands on a book that would bring his puppets to life, chaos ensued.
