Heaven is a sacred and ethereal realm serving as the abode for celestial beings referred to as angels. Analogous to its opposite, Hell, Heaven serves as the destination for the souls of the recently deceased who have passed from Earth, though, unlike its infernal inverse, Heaven is the haven for souls considered to be virtuous and "redeemed".
