Chikemuri is constantly bullied by other students, and thus both mentally and physically weak. He is also allergic to humans and seems to suffer from asthma. Due to these circumstances, Chikemuri appears as both anxious and rarely ever happy. He attends school in Ne-no-Kuni as well.
