A vampire by nature, Hikari requires blood to sustain her biological well-being. However, unlike common depiction of Vampires, she is a very active, cheerful and full-spirited girl who is more than capable of eating garlic. Quirky, cute, confident, kind, and caring, she can quickly become the center of attention but nevertheless puts others' well-being first in her own ways. She tends to wear clothes, accessories and other objects with bat motifs related to her status as a vampire.
