An ancient and malevolent supernatural creature, the Wendigo was once a mortal person cursed with unnatural and all-consuming hunger for the crime of cannibalism. Long-limbed and covered in fur, with the skull of a deer for a head, Wendigos stalk the wildest, deepest parts of the forest for prey to devour. Though half-feral from hunger, they are clever, capable hunters, feeding on the fear of their prey as well as their flesh. They are resistant, but not immune, to most mundane weapons.
