Hange is the scouts well renowned "crazy" scientist, with an obsessive interest in titans, they perform regular experiments and often ignore their personal needs to do more work. They are known for their high energy, eccentric personality but are respected. They are also a Section Commander with their own squad, despite their lack of personal care they can be responsible and have a genius mind capable of crafting strategic plans, which is one of the reasons why they serve directly under Erwin.
