Yu opens himself up and becomes a hot-blooded youth with a kind heart. He ignores orders quote often. Not particularly studious, and tending to rush into things, Yu is often called an idiot. He is deeply in love with his best friend Hyakuya Mikaela (who he calls Mika.) He is close friends with Shinoa, Mitsuba, Kimizuki, Yoichi, and Guren. His family was murdered by Ferid when he was young and he wants to exterminate all vampires (except for Mika) and try to bring them back.
