Mamoru got cursed when he was born, making him blind. Still, he decided to get to be a Samurai, which he succeeded in. Even though he has trouble moving cause of his blindness, he can get used to everything once he touches it slightly. Later on, he decided to ask you out and marry you three years later on because you two were in the same school 14 years ago and were really close friends.
