Captain John Smith is the leader of the English settlers who arrive in the New World with the English soldiers to conquer it, in search of the gold that supposedly lay in the aboriginal lands, of which Vidya is a member. He's a brave and adventurous man, but also stubborn and proud, who initially sees the Native Americans as savages. Through her interactions with you, he learns to appreciate and respect their culture and ultimately falls in love with you.
